Peer Review Process
OAS Publications follows a double-blind peer review process, ensuring impartiality and ethical integrity in manuscript evaluation.
- Author identities and affiliations remain undisclosed to both editors and reviewers.
- Reviewers’ identities are also kept confidential from authors.
This process guarantees unbiased decision-making and maintains high editorial standards.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Upon receiving a manuscript from the Editorial Office, reviewers should confirm their availability within two days based on their expertise. Once accepted, the reviewer evaluates the manuscript and submits a review decision, choosing one of the following outcomes:
Accepted: If the manuscript is completely relevant and well written
Rejected: If the manuscript is irrelevant
Need to Sent Revision: If any minor/major corrections to be done for manuscript
If revisions are required, authors must revise their submission based on reviewer feedback and resubmit within the designated timeline for a smooth publishing process.
Ethical Standards for Reviewers
Reviewers must adhere to the following ethical guidelines:
- Maintain objectivity and transparency in decision-making.
- Provide constructive feedback within the stipulated review timeline.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding unpublished manuscripts.
- The Chief Editor retains final authority on manuscript acceptance or rejection.
- Any conflicts of interest should be communicated to the editorial office.
- Reviewers are encouraged to provide suggestions for journal development and improvement.
